Drawstring at waist, three-quarter-length, A-line panels at front, centre back panel with eight horizontal large pouches between groups of small horizontal zig-zag lines of quilting to create bustle. Wadded quilting filled with down. Lined red plain-weave cotton with piped hem. Cream label printed in black 'McLintocks Patent Purified Russian Down Skirt No.7 - 34 inches’.
